Sharing Folders/Files

With the KineticD web based file sharing system, you have the ability to share selected files or folders with third parties-- you can even share picture files as a photo album. Simply, mark individual files or entire folders as sharable in the Web Portal. For privacy purposes, you can even assign a unique password to each shared file or folder.

Giving third parties access to individual files does not mean they have access to the other files in your KineticD web file sharing system. They can only see the files you have shared with them. You can choose to not share files at any time.

Once files are marked as shared, all you need to do is email the secure web based file sharing link(s) to the desired party. The recipient simply clicks on the Web Link in the email and logs in to download the file. Using this feature, you can easily share large file attachments with people who have very limited inbox space.
