By default, the Online Backup application is configured to run as a Windows Service. This will allow the backup to run when no user is logged in. This is often the case for servers.
To back up a small Microsoft Exchange Server, we suggest using the Microsoft Windows Backup Utility. Please read more at Backing up Microsoft Exchange Server.
Finally, KineticD is also capable of Backing up Microsoft SQL Server.
