By default, the Backup Client does not perform backups while the PC is in use. It will monitor the mouse and keyboard for activity, and pause when the PC is in use. When the activity stops, the Client resumes its work. If you start using your PC partway through a file backup, it will pause once again until the computer is inactive.
Using this approach means that the backup work gets done as soon as possible and there are no schedules to miss. If you are traveling with a notebook computer, whenever you connect to the Internet - in a hotel or even a wireless connection in an airport lounge - your backups will happen automatically.
If you want the Backup Client to work continuously, you can change the default setting. Double click on the icon
and click Options. Select Suspend Off from the drop-down menu.
